These terms govern use of CemeteryPortal across administrative portals, public cemetery pages, GIS tools, and record-search experiences.

1. Use of the Platform

By accessing or using CemeteryPortal, you agree to use the platform only for legitimate cemetery administration, public record access, historical research, or other lawful heritage-related purposes.

2. Mapping and Spatial Information

The platform is designed to support dimension-aware cemetery mapping, public visualization, and future imagery alignment workflows. Even where mapping is precise, organizations remain responsible for field verification before physical work occurs on the ground.

Public map views are informational. Imagery providers and overlays may vary, and users should not treat a visual map alone as a survey instrument.

3. Organization Responsibilities

Each participating organization is responsible for the records it uploads, the accounts it authorizes, the public visibility settings it enables, and the operational decisions it makes based on the system.

4. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with tenant isolation, scrape public data for resale, misuse public genealogy information, or use the platform for content unrelated to cemetery stewardship or heritage records.

5. Availability and Changes

We may update platform features, workflows, and supporting infrastructure over time. Availability targets, maintenance windows, and operational notices may change as the service evolves.
